If you are the one being paid, you do not want to walk a client through an escrow form. A payment link does it for them: you set the amount, token and terms once, share the link, and the buyer opens a form that is already filled in. They fund it, the contract holds it, you collect on release.

You build the link
Open the payment link builder, enter the wallet address you want paid at, the stablecoin and amount, a short title for the deal and the buyer review period. The address is checksum-validated so a typo cannot become a link that directs money to the wrong place.
You share it
The link is plain text: it carries the parameters and nothing else. Send it however you already talk to the buyer, and send your receiving address by a second channel so they can compare.
The buyer verifies the recipient
Before any form appears, the payment page shows the recipient address prominently and asks the buyer to confirm it matches what you sent them elsewhere. A link proves nothing by itself.
The buyer funds the escrow
The escrow form opens pre-filled. The buyer connects their wallet, reviews the terms, approves the token and funds. The buyer is always the connected wallet; the funds go straight into the escrow contract.
You deliver, they release, you collect
Once the work or goods are delivered and the buyer releases, or the review period ends without a dispute, the funds are yours. If there is a disagreement, the normal dispute process applies.

Why the link is not the security
A payment link is a convenience, not a guarantee, and Vaultion’s copy says so on every screen it touches. The security is in the contract the buyer funds, which either side can read on the block explorer, and in the buyer comparing the recipient address with one you sent separately.
Send your address twice
Put your receiving address in the link and also in a message the buyer can compare against. If the two differ, the link has been altered and they should not fund it. This one habit defeats almost every payment-link scam.

Does a payment link hold or move any money?
No. A link is just encoded parameters: your receiving address, the amount, the token, a title and a review period. It pre-fills the escrow form for your buyer. Nothing leaves anyone’s wallet until the buyer funds the escrow themselves.
Who pays the escrow fee on a payment link?
The buyer, when they fund the escrow, on top of the deal amount. You receive the full amount on release.
Can someone tamper with my link?
Anyone can edit the parameters of any link, which is why the payment page shows the recipient address loudly at the top and tells the buyer to confirm it with you out-of-band before paying. Send your address through a second channel and ask the buyer to compare the last six characters.
Which networks and tokens can a link use?
Every network Vaultion carries: USDC, USDT, DAI and PYUSD on Ethereum and the subset each of Arbitrum, Base and BNB Chain supports; USDT on TRON; USDC and USDT on Solana. The link pins the network, so the buyer cannot end up on a different one by accident.
Do I need an account to create a link?
No. The link builder runs in your browser and needs no login. You only need a wallet address to be paid at. If you create a short link (vaultion.org/p/…), the link’s details are kept on Vaultion’s servers for 180 days so the short address can open; the full link works without that.
What does the buyer have to do?
Open the link, check the payout address matches yours, type their name and email, connect their wallet and confirm three transactions: approve, fee, lock funds. If you put your own name and email into the link, they do not have to type those either.
