Vaultion

For marketplaces and platforms

Marketplace payments with escrow built in

Hold every buyer’s payment until the order is delivered, then pay that order’s seller directly. Your platform never touches the money.

The problem

Trust is the hardest part of running a marketplace

Every order is a deal between two people who have never met. Someone has to go first, and that is where sales are lost.

Buyers won’t pay a stranger first

On a marketplace every seller is new to someone. Without protection, the buyer carries all the risk, and many simply leave at checkout.

Holding the money yourself is a burden

If your platform collects payments and pays sellers later, you are holding customer money, with the risk, the reconciliation and the paperwork that comes with it.

Crypto has no chargeback

Card marketplaces lean on the card network when a deal goes wrong. A crypto payment can’t be pulled back, so the protection has to be built in before the money moves.

How it works

One API call per order

Your server creates the checkout, the contract holds the money, the chain proves every step.

  1. 1

    A buyer checks out

Your server sends one POST with the order, the price and that order’s seller wallet. You get back a checkout link.

  2. 2

    The buyer funds escrow

On Vaultion’s hosted page, from their own wallet. The payment locks in a smart contract, not with you and not with Vaultion.

  3. 3

    The seller delivers

You read the order’s status: escrow_funded means the money is there and the seller can ship.

  4. 4

    The seller is paid

The buyer releases, or the seller claims once the review period ends. Payment goes straight to the seller’s wallet.

Built for platforms

Escrow your sellers and buyers can both trust

A different seller on every order

Receiving addresses travel with each request, so every order pays its own seller. No seller onboarding with us.

Your platform never holds funds

The contract holds each payment and can only pay the buyer or that order’s seller. There is no pooled balance anywhere.

Disputes handled for you

Either side can open one, and a Vaultion reviewer rules on the evidence at no charge. Not decentralized: you are trusting Vaultion’s reviewers.

Emails built in

Buyer and seller are emailed when escrow is funded, when a dispute opens, before the review period ends, and when it completes.

Stablecoins, worldwide

USDC on Base, Arbitrum, Ethereum and BNB Smart Chain, USDT on TRON, and USDC or USDT on Solana. The buyer picks the network.

Nothing to leak

No API key or secret to store. A status changes only from a confirmed on-chain receipt, never from a redirect or a callback.

Pricing

No monthly fee. The buyer pays per escrow.

No setup fee and nothing to pay for API calls. Network gas is additional and shown before the buyer authorizes.

FAQ

Questions marketplaces ask

Can my marketplace take a commission through the escrow?

No. The only fee in the escrow is Vaultion’s, paid by the buyer, and there is no way to add a platform commission to it. Charge your platform fee separately, for example as a listing or subscription fee.

Who holds the money while an order is in progress?

The escrow smart contract, on chain. Not Vaultion and not your platform. It can only pay the buyer or that order’s seller.

Do sellers need to sign up with Vaultion?

No. Each request carries the seller’s receiving address and, if you like, their email so they get the escrow notifications. There is no account, key or approval step for you or for them.

How do disputes work?

Either party opens a dispute and submits evidence, and a Vaultion reviewer rules at no charge. It is not decentralized: you are trusting Vaultion’s reviewers. A separate guardian can pause a ruling but never redirect funds.

How does my platform know an order is funded?

Read the session status from your server. There are no webhooks yet: poll every 30 to 60 seconds while the buyer is on the checkout, then every few minutes until the escrow resolves.

Is there a sandbox?

Not yet. Integrate against production; an escrow needs at least $50, and every network listed here carries real payments today.
