OxaPay alternatives for accepting crypto payments

5 min read·Oct 14, 2026·Reviewed by the Vaultion Team

OxaPay pitches a fast start: no documents, a WooCommerce plugin, and USDT on six networks. Before you build a store’s checkout on it, three details in its own pricing page and terms are worth knowing: where the money sits after a buyer pays, what an invoice payment costs, and which businesses it serves. Here is what they say, and how the alternatives compare.

How OxaPay works

You open an OxaPay account; its FAQ says no documents are needed to start. Payments land in your OxaPay account, and an auto-withdrawal setting can send them on to your own wallet. OxaPay’s terms say that if an account is suspended, its assets may be temporarily blocked and unavailable for withdrawal. That is the trade-off with any custodial gateway, and the reason to keep auto-withdrawal on if you use one.

Its pricing page lists 1.5% for invoices and payment links, 2% for white-label checkouts, 2% plus a fixed fee for static addresses, and rates from 0.4% for some businesses, with no monthly fee. On-chain withdrawals pay a network fee. It supports about 18 coins, with USDT on Ethereum, TRON, BNB Smart Chain, Solana, Polygon and TON, and USDC on five networks. It does not offer fiat payouts.

OxaPay’s terms exclude businesses registered in the USA, along with a list of sanctioned and restricted countries. If your business is US-registered, it is not an option.

The alternatives

Vaultion Payments is a free WooCommerce plugin in the WordPress.org directory with no account and no API key: paste a receiving address and the checkout is live. There is no balance held for you on EVM networks, Solana and TRON: the buyer pays your wallet directly, and the 0.75% fee is split off in the same transaction. Bitcoin, Litecoin and the “Send to address” ETH option pass through a Vaultion deposit address and are forwarded after confirmation. It takes USDT on TRON and Solana, USDC on six networks, and BTC, ETH, LTC, SOL, TRX, POL and BNB, with nothing monthly. It needs a USD store currency.

NOWPayments takes more than 300 coins and forwards payments to your own wallet, with an account and API key but no KYC to sign up, for 0.5% to 1% depending on conversion.

CoinGate charges 1%, requires business verification, settles weekly including to a bank in EUR, USD or GBP, and holds a MiCA licence, but does not list USDT.

BTCPay Server is free, self-hosted and non-custodial, with no KYC, built for Bitcoin and Lightning; USDT needs a community plugin.

Buyer protection: escrow

OxaPay’s terms tell buyers to resolve disputes directly with the merchant. Vaultion Payments gives you another option for large orders: escrow in USDC or USDT on six networks, where the payment sits in a smart contract, not with Vaultion, until the buyer confirms delivery or the review period ends. The buyer pays the escrow fee (4% below 500 USDC, 3% from 500, 2% from 5,000). Disputes go to Vaultion-assisted human arbitration, which is not decentralized: you are trusting Vaultion’s reviewers. A separate guardian can pause a ruling but never redirect funds.

See it for yourself

Vaultion runs on a published, open-source contract that holds the funds — not Vaultion. You can read it and the locked balance on the block explorer before you send anything.
