Service and accounts

Vaultion Payments is operated by Vaultion Group Inc., registered in Seychelles. Contact [email protected] for merchant support, security concerns or privacy requests. These service disclosures cover the hosted merchant dashboard, checkout and WordPress integration.

The service connects a merchant website to ETH and USDC direct payments on Base mainnet, with USDC escrow when the merchant offers or requires it. An account and operator-reviewed merchant assignment are required to connect a store. Email verification alone does not grant access to another merchant. The plugin is free software; hosted transaction fees are described below.

Merchants are responsible for their products, prices, fulfillment, customer support and receiving addresses. Keep mailbox access, WordPress administrator access and server credentials secure. Do not use the service for unlawful transactions. Contact support if an account or credential may be compromised.

Prices and fees

The merchant specifies a USD price. Kraken public ETH/USD and USDC/USD trades supply the token quote; USDC is not assumed to equal one dollar. Stale prices are refused. Each attempt records its quote and expiry, and a new attempt may have a different price. Vaultion does not exchange or redeem tokens.

Direct payments charge 0.75%, deducted from the merchant amount by default or added for the buyer when the merchant selects that option. The checkout shows the allocation before a wallet transaction. Integer rounding can affect the last token unit. Network gas is separate.

Escrow uses the existing Vaultion escrow fee instead of the direct-payment fee. The buyer pays it separately, before funding: 4% below 500 USDC, 3% from 500 to below 5,000 USDC, and 2% from 5,000 USDC. The minimum escrow amount is 50 USDC. Review the exact amount, fee and deadline shown by the form before approving any transaction. A paid creation fee is a separate blockchain transaction and cannot be reversed by the plugin if you abandon creation.

Direct payment and escrow

Your wallet authorizes transactions. Direct payment sends the recorded merchant and service amounts in the same contract transaction. It provides no escrow protection. Vaultion does not hold an intermediate merchant balance in this flow.

Escrow funds are held by the existing Base escrow contract. Funding does not mean the merchant has been paid. The checkout uses a seven-day delivery timeout and the Standard review window shown by the escrow form. The existing escrow terms govern releases, refunds, disputes and challenges. Review those terms before funding.

Vaultion-assisted human arbitration is not decentralized — you are trusting Vaultion’s reviewers. The guardian can pause a ruling but never redirect funds. A finalized ruling credits the contract’s withdrawal ledger; the credited party must withdraw. A credit is not proof of a completed withdrawal.

WooCommerce stays on hold when escrow is funded, disputed, awaiting a ruling challenge, refunded or split between parties. Only a verified full allocation to the merchant can mark the order paid. Late funding or duplicate payments require review. The plugin does not initiate refunds, release escrow, rule disputes or withdraw funds.

Verification and interrupted payments

A transaction hash, wallet submission or return to the store is not proof of payment. Vaultion checks the network, contract, recorded amounts, receipt and finality; the store retrieves authenticated status. A network reorganization or provider outage can delay or revise status. Check the existing order before fulfilling it.

If a payment is pending or interrupted, return to its existing checkout. Do not start another payment merely because a page closed. Escrow creation uses separate approval, fee and funding transactions. Its quote has a deadline; the existing escrow contract cannot enforce that checkout deadline. Late funding is recorded for manual review and does not automatically fulfill the order.

Transactions depend on Base, wallets, RPC providers and hosting. Availability and confirmation times are not guaranteed. Merchants should pause new checkouts when they cannot monitor orders. Contact the merchant about a purchase or refund and Vaultion about the checkout integration. Support never needs your seed phrase, private key, API key or emailed sign-in code.
