Escrow on BNB Chain
BNB Smart Chain is where a large share of exchange withdrawals land, and BEP-20 USDT is one of the most widely held stablecoins outside Ethereum. Vaultion’s contract on BNB Chain is the same v4 escrow model as Ethereum mainnet, deployed at its own address and visible on BscScan, with gas paid in BNB at a small fraction of mainnet cost.

How a BNB Chain escrow runs
Create and fund
Describe the deal, name the other party, choose USDT, USDC or DAI, the amount, the buyer review period and the challenge window. Approve the token, then fund. The fee is its own transfer at creation. Both transactions are paid in BNB.
The seller delivers
Off-chain, as agreed. Both sides get email notifications as the escrow changes state.
The buyer releases, or the review period runs
Release sends the funds to the seller. If the buyer does nothing and raises no dispute, the funds can be released to the seller once the review period ends.
Dispute, if needed
Either side opens a dispute, both submit evidence, a Vaultion reviewer rules, and the chosen challenge window runs before the ruling is finalized. Full detail in what happens in a dispute.
Collect
After a ruling, finalizing credits the winner inside the contract and they collect with their own wallet.
BNB Chain or an Ethereum L2?
Arbitrum, Base and BNB Chain all run the same contract model, the same fee schedule and the same assisted dispute path. Gas is low on all three. The choice is almost entirely about where the stablecoins already are.
Assisted review is a trust decision
On BNB Chain a Vaultion reviewer settles disputes. It is fast and fee-less, and it means you are trusting Vaultion to rule fairly. A freeze-only guardian can pause a ruling but can never redirect funds.

Which stablecoins work on BNB Chain escrow?
USDT, USDC and DAI, the BEP-20 versions that circulate on BNB Smart Chain. PYUSD is not issued on BNB Chain. The contract’s token allowlist was fixed at deployment, so no other token can be escrowed on this rail.
Is Kleros available on BNB Chain?
No. There is no Kleros court on BNB Smart Chain, so every BNB Chain escrow uses Vaultion-assisted review. That path is fee-less and not decentralized: a Vaultion reviewer rules. For Kleros, use Ethereum mainnet.
Why is BSC USDT 18 decimals?
The BEP-20 USDT, USDC and DAI on BNB Chain are Binance-Peg tokens and all use 18 decimals, unlike the 6-decimal USDT and USDC on Ethereum. You never handle this yourself: the escrow page shows plain dollar amounts and the contract reads the token’s decimals. It only matters if you verify raw values on BscScan.
Which wallet do I need?
Any EVM wallet set to BNB Smart Chain: MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Binance Web3 Wallet, Rabby or a WalletConnect wallet. You need a small amount of BNB for gas.
Do I need to bridge?
Usually not. Binance and most other exchanges withdraw USDT, USDC and DAI directly to BNB Smart Chain (BEP-20). If your stablecoins are on another network, an exchange withdrawal is normally simpler than a bridge for a single escrow.
